DESCRIPTION :
The Automatic Meteorological Platform developed by ELTA brings an efficient solution to Synoptic and Climatic meteorology. The platform as also been successfully adapted for Hydro-Meteorology.
The platform includes, five scientific sensors, a programmable data logger with a capacity of 8 different inputs, a sealed flash card data recorder with 2x1MB cards, a 20 watts solar panel backed up with a 12V battery, a watertight cabinet for the electronic set and a 10 meters mast for the instruments.
With its standard sensors the AWS measures 7 parameters: Wind Speed and Wind Direction, Air T° and Air relative humidity, Air Pressure, Total Solar Radiation, Rain falls.
The sensors of our offer can be replaced by sensors of your own selection.
The data sampled can be visualised, in real time through the data logger integrated screen. Configuration parameters of the sensors or the operating mode of the AWS can be checked and modified through menus thanks to the integrated keyboard.
The standard meteorological software included in the package, allows a large number of pre-defined operations on the raw data sampled on defined period of time: Minimum, Maximum, Average, Last value, etc
Customised developments are also possible.
Transmission protocols defined by OMM are available: FMX synop, FMX CREX
Transmission systems available includes METEOSAT, GOES, GMS, ORBCOM, RADIO SSB, INMARSAT C & Mini M, cellular phone, modem, Leased Line, etc
