Emergency locator transmitters
International aviation regulations require emergency locator transmitter's (ELT's) carriage on all type of aircraft. ELTA offers three types of ELT's:
These products are designed for several applications, as "civil and commercial aviation", "general and business aviation" and helicopters.
Cospas-Sarsat is a satellite system designed to provide alert and location information to assist search and rescue operations.
To enhance its upscale product range, so to provide complete equipment, ELTA has been designing a very wide range of accessories, such as Remote Control Panels (RCP) and external antennas for automatic fixed application, but also state-of-the-art maintenance equipment to maintain ELT's with dedicated tools.
