We are looking for an experienced Industrial Purchaser, ideally with knowledge of the aeronautical field and AIRBUS requirements in particular, to negotiate and draw up contracts for strategic supplies with foreign suppliers.
His/her main duties will include:
- Finding the best sources of supply to reach the targets previously set with the project manager (cost, quality of technical production, schedule) in line with the company's strategy and purchasing policy in force,
- Drawing up and implementing the contracts chosen for the project with the help of the product line purchasers,
- Promoting ELTA's purchasing strategy in the projects and making sure that it is applied,
- Following the project schedule,
- Reporting to the project manager (costs, deadlines, pre-and post-project quality, ..),
- Designing and updating the project purchasing dashboards.
Qualifications:
Master 1 or 2 in a technical field, ideally specialized in purchasing.
Personal qualities:
Leadership, pluridisciplinary teamwork, able to negotiate, capable of arguing and convincing, analytical minded, listening and sound judgment, confidentiality, curiosity, rigor, methodical, able to recognize the common interest.
Professional qualities:
- Someone with both technical and sales experience is a bonus,
- Able to adapt to changes in the business world,
- Capable of working under pressure,
- Able to use ERP (BAAN).
Fluent French and English.
